Free learn Spanish software is not so easy to find as you might think. There is some very good commercial software for learning Spanish (and some not so good commercial software, too). In the end, if you're really serious about your Spanish learning, you'll probably find that the free stuff just doesn't give you what you need to make the progress you should.

Free Spanish Learning Software

• Selingua: This is a vocabulary training program with extensive built-in dictionaries in different languages, including Spanish. There are six different exercises for practicing vocabulary and verb inflections, including a crossword exercise. Users can also add their own Spanish words to the dictionaries.
• Selingua Columns: This is similar to the Tetris-like game Columns, but uses words instead of colors. Pieces fall down from the top - you rotate the pieces and try to match words that mean the same thing. The word lists contain more than 2000 words in each language (including Spanish).
• Foreign Language Software: On this page you'll find a number of programs for practicing Spanish. As with almost all free software, the focus is almost exclusively on vocabulary learning. The programs available are: Choice, WordTris, Puzzle, Memo, Category and Word Invader.
